AliExpress to export Russian food firms' goods to China
MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Popular marketplace AliExpress will export several Russian companies’ products to China and will open embassies of Russian brands on its website Tmall, AliExpress said on Friday in a statement.
AliExpress held on Thursday a conference of Russian suppliers willing to export to China via platforms of Alibaba, AliExpress’s parent company.
“Such manufacturers as (brewery) Baltika, (confectionary) Uniconf, (food holding) KDV Group, (food retailer) Vkusvill, and more than 20 other companies participated in the conference that will cover the most popular goods categories among Chinese consumers, such as alcohol, confectionary, and dairy products. The marketplace plans first to deliver several hundreds of goods items on Tmall,” AliExpress said.
AliExpress plans to open the Chinese market for several tens of Russian companies at the first stage.
